Bay Equipment Rentals Night UP Next For Carstar Weekly Racing Series

(Halifax, NS – September 14, 2023) –With just two weeks left on the CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series season it’s go time for teams looking to clinch a championship or just move up the ranks in the point standings. Fans won’t want to miss what is sure to be some of the best racing this season. On track this Friday are the Maritime Auto Glass Bandoleros, Toursec Mini Stocks and the Bay Equipment Rentals Sportsman.

In addition to the Bay Equipment Rentals Late Model Sportsman, the Toursec Mini Stocks will be in the spotlight Friday night in their postponed Toursec 50. The race was scheduled to run in August but will now be run as the penultimate Friday night race for the division. Last week’s show saw a thriller as former Late Model Sportsman champion Aaron Boutilier (Porters Lake) edged out Steven Matthews (Fall River) in a photo finish for the victory. Ross Moore (Lake Egmont) can take a big step forward Friday in bringing home his first championship if he can keep his 34 point lead over Chad Sinton (Truro) in tact. The class has seen six different winners in nine point races.

Our friends from Bay Equipment Rentals will also be joining us in the tower this Friday!

Tickets will be available for purchase at the gates on race day, with adult tickets priced at $20.00, youth tickets (8-15 years old) priced at $5.00, and children 7 and under admitted free. Back gate tickets are $25.00.
