About Scotia Speedworld: Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. 2012 marks the 25th season of weekly racing at the venue. SSW is the only track in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars. SSW also hosts special events, including Monster Jam and the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. SSW is located at Exit 6 on Highway 102, across from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. The Weekly Racing Series returns next Friday, June 14th for Coors Light Night. Five divisions of race cars will take to the track including the Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros, ACE Lumbermart Thunder & Lightning cars, Strictly Hydraulics Legends and the Coors Light Trucks. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM with racing slated to roll at 7:00 PM. Admission for the Weekly Racing Series is $12.00 for adults, $2.00 for youth (8-15yrs) and children 7 and under are admitted for free all summer at Scotia Speedworld!
