Important Message To Teams
Pit Admission

Access to the Scotia Speedworld pits is restricted to those 16 years of age and older, expect for the Bandolero teams. Insurance requirements require a Parental Consent form be on file for every minor who enters the pits. In addition every minor must sign a Minor Participant waiver on race day when entering the pits.

A minor in Canada is anyone under the age of 18 years. This means any person entering the pit who is 16 or 17 years of age must have the a signed Parental Consent form on file and sign the Minor Participant waiver on race day before entering the pits. You will also be required to provide acceptable proof of age ID.

Both parents and a witness must sign the Parental Consent form, available from our office via email, fax or pick-up and the Jones Brown Insurance company website. This form can be filled out in advance and presented at the pit gate on race day, along with acceptable proof of age ID.

We have been informed that we must have acceptable proof of age ID for those who appear to be minors. Failure to do so on our part renders our insurance null and void. Therefore those who cannot provide acceptable proof of age ID will not be permitted entry to the pits. Those 16 and 17 years of age who do not have a completed Parental Consent form on file or with them on race day will not be permitted entry of the pits.

Please work with us on this issue and have the proper paperwork completed before race day to ensure you or a member of your team is able to enter the pits.  Our hands are tied as the result of the insurance requirements.
