Strictly Hydraulics Night On Deck For Weekly Racing Series

(Halifax, NS – July 27, 2011) Scotia Speedworld proudly presents Strictly Hydraulics Night this Friday at Scotia Speedworld. 5 divisions of hotrods will see action under the lights at the 3/10 mile oval, including: the Hydraulics Plus Bandolero’s, Coco Beach Legends, Trucks, Lumbermart Thunder cars and the Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman. Heat races to determine the qualifying order for each feature will begin at 7:00 p.m. Grandstands and Box Office open at 5:00 p.m.

Last Friday night we saw the point lead change hands in three divisions including the Trucks (Dan Smith from Lower Sackville), Lumbermart Thunder (Matthew Warren from White's Lake) and the Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros (Cole Tanner from Shubenacadie). Coco Beach Legend car leader Steve Pye (Lantz) and Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman Series leader Jeff Dillman (Middle Musquodoboit) hope to extend their advantages as the summer continues to heat up at the Speedworld!

Admission for Strictly Hydraulics Night is: $12.00 for adults; $2.00 for youth aged 8-15; children 7 and under are admitted free. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Pit admission is $15.00 and restricted to those 16 and older. Tickets are available at the gate on race day. Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility.
