Three Extended Lap Races at Scotia Speedworld this Friday!(Halifax, NS, July 14, 2009) Fans are sure to see lots of great racing this Friday, July 17th as the Weekly Racing Series continues at Scotia Speedworld with three extended lap features on the schedule! The Miller Tire Thunder and Lightning Divisions and the Lockhart Truck Center Hobby Stock Division will all be racing 50 lap Main features as part of the Miller Tire Triple 50’s. Also racing will be the Sojourn Signs Bandolero Division. Racing is set to start at 7:00pm, main gates open at 5:00pm and the Strictly Hydraulics pits open at 4:00pm. The Miller Tire Triple 50’s wouldn’t be complete without the Miller Tire….Going Further Fan Award. Every Friday one lucky fan is awarded a fantastic prize from Miller Tire just for supporting their favourite driver! The fan who shows the most support for a driver each week will receive the Miller Tire Going Further Fan Award…..so sport your drivers numbers and car colors and you could win! Admission for the Weekly Racing Series is $12.00 for adults; $2.00 for youth aged 8-15; children 7 and under are admitted free. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Pit admission is $15.00 and restricted to those 16 and older. Tickets are available at the gate on race day. SSW is the only venue in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars.
