It’s Z103.5 Night at Scotia Speedworld this Friday(Halifax, NS, June 16, 2009) Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series returns this Friday, June 19th. This week’s featured 5 divisions include; Sojourn Signs Bandoleros, Miller Tire Lightning cars, Lockhart Truck Center Hobby Stocks, Legends and the C&R Auto Supply Sportsman. Racing is set to start at 7:00pm, main gates open at 5:00pm and the Strictly Hydraulics pits open at 4:00pm.Last week Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series and Monster Jam ticket promotion was canceled due to rain. Please note that Monster Jam ticket stubs will NOT be honored this Friday night (June 19th). The Z103.5 BK Summer Heat Tour will be at Scotia Speedworld this Friday night with prizes and a live Z103.5 DJ! Fans can also look forward to some fun on the front stretch as Z103.5 hosts the “Z Human Race”. Fans can email a photo of their precious ride to contests@Z103halifax.com. The folks at Z103.5 will select 6 qualifiers for the “Z Human Race”. The lucky 6 qualifiers will bring their rides to Scotia Speedworld this Friday, June 19th and with the help of a few friends they will have to push their cars across the start finish line…the fastest 2 times will each win a $1500.00 gift certificate courtesy of Chapman Auto Body Limited! Yes that is two top prizes of $1500.00 so enter your car or truck today! Admission for the Weekly Racing Series is $12.00 for adults; $2.00 for youth aged 8-15; children 7 and under are admitted free. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Pit admission is $15.00 and restricted to those 16 and older. Tickets are available at the gate on race day. SSW is the only venue in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars.
